    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Production Clerk will effectively verify and help maintain packaging and raw inventory, i.e, casing, film inserts, seasoning (does not include WIP product). As well as tracking all product issues and discrepancies (shorts, late deliveries, products needed for production) from production and reports accordingly from internal and external sources.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Verify and help maintain packaging and raw inventory, i.e, casing, film inserts, seasoning (does not include WIP product).
    • Tracks all product issues and discrepancies (shorts, late deliveries, products needed for production) from production and reports accordingly from internal and external sources.
    • Communicate with OWS procurement daily regarding any issues with RAW / RTE that are discovered with materials.
    • General miscellaneous duties of filing, general support of other departments, etc.
    • Responsible for accurate inventory levels for both the RAW and RTE production.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    • Identification of root cause and implementation of corrective actions for Inventory discrepancies.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with vendors.

    Work Environment:

    • Ability to legally work in the United States is required.
    • High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
    • Work in cold environment of 40 degrees or less.
    • Must be able to lift, slide, push, pull, grab, turn, reach, bend, stand, and walk.
    • Drive stand up forklift.

    • Take responsibility in your area of employment with Carl Buddig and Company for reporting, making recommendations, and correcting situations adverse to the company's best interest.
    • Report all food safety related problems to the quality assurance department to initiate immediate action.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    The ideal candidate must possess the following skills and qualifications:

    • Previous experience in manufacturing / warehouse environment.
    • Organized/proficient individual with follow though skills.
    • Communicate well with others to effectively address all concerns and inquiries.
    • Other duties or responsibilities may be assigned on an as needed basis.

    Core Competencies:

    • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Must have basic computer skills and knowledge of all Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc...).
    • Must be able to perform most of the work on a computer.
    • Must be able to work 40 or more hours per week including weekends.
    • Must be highly attentive to detail (i.e. film/date/ accurate counts).
    • Must be able to multitask and prioritize assignments.
    • Must have good organizational skills.
    • Must have general knowledge of warehouse processes.
    • Maintain a good rapport with all Carl Buddig and Company co-workers.
    • Comply with all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Carl Buddig and Company employee handbook.
    • Report all food safety related problems to your supervisor, manager, or to the quality assurance department to initiate immediate action.
    • Complete necessary forklift maintenance and associated reports to ensure maximum forklift performance and overall plant safety.
    • Accomplish warehousing and organizational mission by completing related results as needed.
    • Remove excess inventory of boxes and pallets as needed. Maintaining a clean warehouse and consolidating pallets as needed.
    • Additional tasks as assigned.
