JOB SUMMARY:

Under minimum supervision registers assets in ERP system. Performs daily inventory counts on all campuses and satellite locations. Provides daily inventory reports on property and asset tagged products and goods. Keeps accurate records of all Grant and Non-Grant funded inventory and surplus goods. Assists in inventory counts, fixed assets and disposal of surplus property. Coordinates inventory or property transfers and relocations. Makes timely and accurate inventory adjustments.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Daily Inventory of all campuses (25%)
  • Completes data input of received good information in ERP system (15%)
  • Keeps accurate records, inspects goods received for property and asset tags (15%)
  • Tracks inventory of moved and transferred products to and from other campuses, locations, departments (15%)
  • Keeps accurate records of surplus items and auction inventory (15%)
  • Submits reports on lost, misplaced, moved and damaged inventory (5%)
  • Provides inventory write-off reports to department head and CFO (5%)
  • Completes all other duties and responsibilities as assigned. (5%)

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or the equivalent
  • Minimum two (2) years related experience
  • Possess analytical abilities needed to investigate/audit and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Knowledge of supply chain functions and duties
  • Experience with receiving, asset tagging and inventory management
  • Detail oriented with the ability to perform tasks accurately
  • Valid Florida driver's license
  • Strong communications skills
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Suites

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position requires an ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, reach up, stoop, and carry items occasionally in excess of seventy-five (75) pounds. It also requires manual dexterity to operate standard office machines, such as, copier, fax, calculator, telephone, and other equipment as necessary. IRSC expects its employees to follow proper safety standards while employed by the College.
