available in Paragould, AR, working for North America's premier railcar axle manufacturer. Pay: $22-$25 per hour (Based on experience)

1st Shift Hours: 7 am - 5 pm, Monday-Friday

The Drafting Technician will work alongside manufacturing engineers, programmers, and management to develop engineering drawings and maintain CNC Forge programs along with many other engineering-level tasks. Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • CNC forge machine programming & process monitoring.
  • Accurate and fast turnaround of engineering drawings created from customer prints.
  • Development of standardized practices in relation to engineering drawing formats and document control.
  • Scoping, planning, coordinating, and scheduling independent projects as well as routine maintenance.
  • PM Creation, modification, and development.
  • Collaborate with shop floor employees to identify areas for improvement.
  • Plan, conduct, or coordinate relatively straightforward engineering analyses and tests, and prepare related reports and summaries for review.

Qualifications:

  • CAD/3D modeling (preferably Inventor 2021).
  • Project Management expertise: Thorough knowledge of project scheduling, cost tracking, and forecasting inclusive of project management tools.
  • CNC programming experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Queries, pivot tables, macros, deep data digging).
  • Strong interpersonal skills to allow productive collaborative relationships with customers, vendors, operations, and mechanical and technical personnel.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when needed.
