A BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Continuous Improvement Leader is responsible for lean efforts throughout the facility by supporting teams to achieve higher levels of performance and improving productivity. They develop ideas to innovate processes to positively impact profitable growth, zero defects, and delivery.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Facilitate and coach the implementation of Lean Daily Management.
  • Serve as an interdepartmental liaison in problem investigation and solving and expedites the accurate and timely transfer of required information.
  • Coordinate and directs projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and direct the integration of technical activities.
  • Confer with management, production, sales staff, and customers to discuss project specifications and procedures.
  • Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the continuous improvement activities performed in the organization.
  • Facilitate teams focused on equipment or process changes for improving manufacturing of products.
  • Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical support and information.
  • Act as a champion for continuous improvement, managing manufacturing improvement activities in an open, enthusiastic, and positive manner, to encourage participation and development of a culture of continuous improvement at all levels
  • Identify, plan, and implement lean projects within the company, being mindful of H&S&E, cost benefits implications and productivity impacts.
  • Facilitate kaizen and lean events across the sites.
  • Review performance indicators (KPI's) for each area and identify projects to introduce improvements.
  • Continually appraise global technologies developments / advances that may be implemented to reduce manufacturing costs and improve process / product quality.
  • Investigate and manage the delivery of effective training and communication across and within departments with regards to CI activities
  • Generate project directives, specifications, and capex requests where appropriate


EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor (Required)
  • Master (Preferred)


EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ Years of Experience in a Leadership Role (Required)
  • 3+ Years of experience in Lean Manufacturing (Required)
