What you will be doing

Position Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Please note, this position is remote and open to eligible candidates within the United States.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for working alongside client managers to lead project teams, develop project work plans, monitor project progress and status, and provide project-related communications internally and externally to ensure completion of high-quality deliverables on time and within budget. Usually works with minimum supervision, conferring with supervisor on unusual matters. Assignments are broad in nature, requiring originality and ingenuity. Has appreciable latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Involved in multiple projects / assignments and can appropriately balance priorities.

* Collaboration with internal and client teams for development of project SOWs and budgets, routing through proper internal reviews prior to client submission
* Initiate project initiation and maintenance procedures using internal Project Operations tools and processes
* Develop, track, maintain and drive project timelines and strive to keep team members and clients on task, within scope and on budget.
* Identify and resolve project risks or issues, effectively escalate decisions and issues
* Effectively manage project scope / changes, functioning as an escalation point to ensure impact is communicated and approved
* Monitor and manage project financials and generate client billing with internal finance team and external client financial stakeholders
* Ensure all projects follow routing procedures
* Schedule and hold internal meetings to kick-off projects and update project teams on the status of jobs and to alert team of obstacles that may impede deadlines

* Schedule, manage and participate in client status meetings, developing agendas, gaining appropriate team input for meetings, and preparing follow up reports and action plans
* Learn and manage client-specific processes to ensure compliance, including Medical/Legal/Regulatory (MLR) submission processes, requirements, and portal access (as needed)
* Educate other project team members on client processes and the time required to complete and prepare various types of job deliverables for submission to client electronic/online copy approval systems
* Schedule and route all job deliverable documents to appropriate internal staff for strategic review, updates, graphics enhancement, copyediting, etc and track accordingly
* Develop and maintain a checklist for client preferences and guidance not noted in style guide for quality control/proofreading
* Maintain strong working relationships with team members and with clients
* Disseminate job communications internally and externally as needed
* Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency and team communication
* Schedule and facilitate internal team meetings to support worktypes and service lines as needed
* Perform other duties as assigned

What your background should look like

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and/or PMP certification is preferred or equivalent experience. Project Manager experience in a fast-paced office environment. Requires 5+ years' experience.

$70,400 - 100,760

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
