Job Description

Parametrix, a leading engineering, planning, environmental sciences, and construction management firm is seeking an ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST to join our Corporate Finance team in Puyallup, Washington. We work on projects for a variety of clients, including local and regional municipalities, state & federal agencies, and tribes. This is a hybrid position, coming into the office for training, mentorship, and team engagement, with option for remote-work flexibility.

WHO YOU ARE

Experienced: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and/or 3+ years of proven experience in a heavy deadline-driven, high volume accounts payable position. Our AP team supports invoicing, bank account reconciliations, ACH processing, fixed asset tracking, expense reporting, payment processing, general ledger coding, taxes, GAAP, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) compliance and more. You will use BST10, Excel, Word, Adobe Pro, and Concur in your day-to-day work. BST (or Deltek) and Sage FAS experience highly preferred, proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams is required, and A&E industry experience a strong plus.

Passionate about details: This position is focused on reviewing entries, researching data, investigating issues, ensuring accuracy, and verifying all correct coding and approvals follow internal controls. Considered candidates will have strong organization skills, a keen eye for details, and feel comfortable in a deadline driven environment. The ability to ask questions and elevate discrepancies is crucial to success in this position.

Base salary for this position is in the range of $60,000-$75,000. Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, location, and role. For all positions we conduct an equity review. Employee-owners are all eligible for performance-based bonuses based on key contributions. Salaries are reviewed at least once annually as part of our compensation program.
