The Leidos National Security Sector is hiring a Precision, Navigation and Timing (PNT) Engineer to support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. This position requires an active Secret clearance and eligibility for a TS/SCI clearance.

Our PNT Engineer will leverage experience developing space and counter-space models and simulations to support of intelligence analysis objectives. The Engineer will work to design, develop, test, and document simulations related to Precision, Navigation, and Timing (PNT).

All work is performed onsite in Dayton, OH.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Research foreign satellite systems.
  • Assess capabilities of foreign space systems
  • Incorporate space models or components or entire vehicles into current modeling environment.
  • Produce high confidence answers to problems of interest on space system.
  • Produce large scale/reverse engineered system simulations of space vehicles.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in EE, CE or a related field and 4+ years of experience or Master's in a related field and 2+ years of experience. Additional experience, trainings, or certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Active Secret clearance with eligibility for a TS/SCI clearance.
  • 1+ year of C++.
  • Basic understanding of aerospace systems.
  • Experience with Precision, Navigation, and Timing (PNT).
  • Strong analytical and communication skills and ability to work individually and with teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Experience working at NASIC with Intelligence Community models.
  • Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), VHSIC Hardware Description Language (VHDL), and Veralog experience.

Pay Range:Pay Range $81,250.00 - $146,875.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
